About Me

Hi!

My name is Angela, and I am a lifelong animal lover.  Ever since I was a kid I've had the opportunity to share my life with so many different types of animals. Some pets, some non-pets, including: dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats (domestic and wild), gerbils, mice, turtles, pigeons...the list goes on!

I have volunteered for a wide variety of animal related organizations and rescues. Here are what I'm working on right now:

I am a volunteer for the Wildlife Conservation Society as a guide at the Central Park Zoo.  If you've ever visited us, maybe you've heard me narrating the Sea Lion Feeding Sessions or we had a chat about our Snow Leopard cubs!

I also currently volunteer at the Wild Bird Fund, an amazing nonprofit in NYC which provides emergency care for wild birds and animals in NYC.

Also, in the past I have fostered cats and kittens for Zani's Furry Friends animal rescue in NYC.  I fostered my cat Pretzel for a little while last year, actually. I ended up adopting her, though :)
